Avvicinamento
Da Aosta, dirigersi verso il tunnel del Gran San Bernardo e percorrerlo. Una volta in Svizzera, scendere lungo la valle fino a Orsières. A questa diramazione, girare a destra a attraversare il villaggio. Dopo il ponte, girare a sinistra verso La Fouly. Superato il paese, proseguire fino alla fine della strada, dove lascerete l’auto.
Descrizione

Dopo la frazione di Granges, situata sopra La Fouly, seguire la strada per 200m, imboccare un sentiero che scende sulla destra e attraversare un ponte. Continuate sul versante a sinistra del torrente sulla pista di sci di fondo. Poco prima della prime abitazioni di Ferret, salire nella radura verso l’alpeggio di Planproz e attraversare una foresta magnifica di larici. Raggiungere la dorsale principale N che conduce alla cima di la Dotze. Attenzione ai pendii N sotto alla cima che possono risultare pericolosi. Si raccomanda quindi di seguire il filo di cresta fino alla cima. Raggiunta quest’ultima, potrete ammirare uno splendido panorama che comprende il Dolent, il Grand Lui e i pendii selvaggi del Mont Ferret sullo sfondo.
