An “A” will be added for routes where difficulties require adequate mountaineering knowledge and gear to be tackled.
In this case, we refer to the alpine grading system: F – easy, PD – slightly difficult, AD – somewhat difficult, D – difficult, to assess how sustained the difficulty is.
